 Photographed part of a leaded glass vase that was placed on light box with colored papers. Also used ambient light.

Cropped, levels, USM. Some cloning of dust spots.

Personally if it were me, I would have left the background out. Otherwise, it is a great photo!

Unfortunately I can see what appears to be curtains on the right side of the photo and found it to be very distracting as it was one of the first things that drew my eyes. Its also off centered.unbalanced. I do like the abstractness of the photo tho. well done and good luck in this challenge.

The "lighting" part of this is fantastic, beautifully modulated and expressive. The BG color is not quite right iMO, but it's nevertheless a fine shot and a strong entry.
