i had a vision that i tried to recreate. the original vision had small purplish-blue rocks, silver, blue and amber beads, but big white aquarium rocks were all they had at store, so i modified the plan slightly ; 0 . this was lit with a back light and a fill bounced off the ceiling.

i tend to appreciate your good shit, but i just realized that a zen rock garden is actually sand with single stones in it, usually. still, i liked the creative twist on the idea. is there some other form of zen rock garden that im unaware of ?

Nice color contrasts. In the thumbnail, I thought it was on carpet, and couldn't figure out where you got the zen part. Duh, I feel stupid now.

Nice rich colors, how'd you blur the whole left side? I think you needed more rocks on the botom right too.

Nice composition, I especially like the colors and the textures. Is there a reason why there are more stones above the center square than below it? It's nothing major, but considering the symmetry...

Vivid picture. Nice idea.

I didn't know tictactoe was that relaxing! ;o) Nice idea, nice execution. This is nit-picky, but I think the shot would be nicer if the white gravel extended beyond the edges of the photo, and the white background didn't poke through.

Very clever and nicely done. I would have extended the rocks past the edges of the frame for a more consistent background.

Interesting idea....nice color.....A little too symmetrical for my taste.

nice idea. Not sure whether you ran out of stones ... there are 2 black ones missing from the horizontal line of the tic-tac-toe board, and there seems to be some bare patches around the edges of the photo. Apart from that, the photo is ok, but it doesn't really hold me for that long
