By chance I took a shot of a crack in concrete today. Didn't know why at the time, but it popped into my head this evening when I was trying to figure out an interesting image to have on the screen behind the incredible Joe Bender.

Used clear packing tape to suspend him in front of the monitor and took the shot with a long exposure time to minimize monitor flicker.

Hmm. Apparently I should have put something a little more interesting in the background on the computer monitor the little guy was in front of. Of course even then it is not obvious why he would be a silhouette to the uninformed viewer as you need to know the light source is coming from behind him.

Ah well, it was fun to try. And you can bet you haven't seen the last of Joe...

Very unique and unusual. This has a nice crisp silhoutte but is not overly exciting to me. I realy like the little figure but I don't realy care for the bland background. This is a fun shot to look and is a very creative take on the challenge.

Very creative. Is this a cut out stuck to a clear filter or piece of glass?

I really like the top 80% of this image. It's so surrealistic that I laughed. Unfortunately, when I got to the bottom, the realness of the brick showed through and took away the effect. 5

Not sure how you took this photo or the post processing, but I don't think it really meets the challenge. The concept is nice and it is a good pic, but not a silhouette.
