Daniel was my nephew that was born this morning. He came into this world and lived approximately 1 hour before his calling came from a much higher source. I'm not looking for a sympothy vote, its just the only thing on my mind. For anybody that actually reads this, if you have kids, give them a great big hug and kiss, life truly is a miracle.

I came to this photo today accidentally because now in September of 2010 there is a Triangle challenge and I decided to see what people did before. It attracted me by its design, and only after that I read your comment. Hope passed years healed (or covered) wounds.

My comment comes from initial impression I had before reading your comment: I thought image like this may be much more dynamic if rotated e.g. to about 40 or 50 degrees clockwise (avoiding clearly vertical or horizontal lines), and cropped to square, or maybe landscape rectangular with more black negative space on right.

Now, even though there could be symbolism in the way it was originally constructed, I believe idea can be used to produce something else now. Perhaps still dedicated to Daniel.

All our condolences im sure! Your comment of not wanting a sympathy vote is unneeded, you did brilliantly, and conveyed true emotion.
The comments reflect your achievement and i hope they help you and your family in some small way.
Please go back and read them all again, its amazing how well you came across with "just" an image, every comment IMO has a connection, i hope you feel it too.
My little miracle will cirtanly get your hug and kiss. Im glad to get a reminder once in a while, thanx.

Sincerely
Rossco

Beautiful. 9 (instead of 10) only because the Triangle is secondary to the round bloom.

I think your idea here is excellent, but there appears to be very strong smaller composition here :)

I'd be interested to know the reason you named it "Daniel". I know the meaning of the name Daniel is "God is my Judge", but I don't see the relevence here, other then to embarass myself with mentioning the Stargate reference with the Pyramid, and thinking I really am a Sci-Fi junkie...LOL I would have liked to see the cloth in front completely blacked out. I think it would make a stronger image to have the object floating in space, so as not to detract from the image.

This is a nice image. I really like the way you placed your objects carefully with thought. Nice work.
