Thanks all, and thanks Jason. I didn't have my macrolab set up since I just moved here. I think you'll see a marked improvement in my flora, and depending on my ambition, my fauna. :)

| oh man. that was a great idea! the shadow looks perfect. it's a damn shame you didn't do this on a flat white surface, i bet it would have done extremely well. thanks for checking out my color shot. it was a normal desaturation, because everything in the background was blue. |

Very creative! How did you get this to stand up? It looks like you glued the cross-bar to the other two knives, but did you tape the supports to the carpet?

| Nice one, very original! I like the shadow of the pi "sculpture" in the background. I might have used something different to the carpet though. |

| The shadow pi is a good idea. The image is all run together, however since most everything is the same tonal range. |

| I like the background here, and the shadow makes an interesting addition. For me, I think it would be more effective if the knives were actually in focus. |

| very original idea, gives off a impressive visual impact. focus is right on, you even have some refection of the carpet on the knives. nice shadows from the lighting too. |
