the front piece is a bit unfocused but neat idea

A little more focus in the front center of the shot would have been better for me, but I like the idea.

Jar Jar belongs in Jail, no pass go :) Nice shot, dramatic lighting.

I like the crispness of this image. The game piece in the forground is distracting to me and out of focus, lose it. Shift the remaining composition so that the figure is at the lower rght third to draw the viewer's attention to the story you are telling.

Like the lighting on this.

doh! jar jar must die. nice shot.

I think a little more DOF (to bring both figures into focus) would have been nice here.

Great lighting!

I'm one of those that dislikes the forground subject to be out of focusand the background picture to be in focus. I think both figures should have been in focus. I think I understand why you did it though, the Jar Jar piece is passing go while the other piece is left behind. To make this a bit more effective it might have been better to choose a smaller piece for the foreground so that it doesn't detract from your subject and then maybe move the piece passing go closer to the line and maybe even crossing over the line. Another good idea would have been to get more of a view of where the character passing go was actually going by turning the camera more to the left.

Nice lighting! When 900 years old you be, look so good you will not!

I would have liked to see both the "characters" in focus and someplace other than the center.

Focus needs work.

the spotlight lighting it a nice touch

Nice work. Piece is a little lost with the background. All in all good work, good light.

trying to cash in on star wars are you?
05/20/2002 01:01:00 PM
Interesting lighting, though I think there needs to be more of it. Your DOF should be increased too to have both figurines in focus.

Hmmm... need more light, you do.

I like the direct lighting.Wish figure on the right was in focus also.
05/20/2002 10:29:00 AM
cool lighting!
05/20/2002 01:06:00 AM
Nice lighting style, a bit off center?
05/20/2002 12:39:00 AM
Brilliant lighting. You can get away with showing such a small amount of the game because it is instantly recognised. Definitely the most artistic Monopoly contribution.

Boo! Jar Jar should go directly to jail, no $200! j/k, I like the lighting/metering here. The queen seems a bit out of focus though
