| Excellent composition and focus. I'm not sure I would have lit the subject from the side, as one whole petal is almost entirely in shadow. Overall, this is a very compelling shot that I hope does very well. |

| very nice image. composition, lighting and focus are all lovely, and the nicely clear-from-distraction background successfully pushes the main subject out. one of my high scorers for the entire challenge. |

| Very nice positioning and lighting. The black background is excellent as well. The only thing I would say would be to have a slightly greater DOF so that the petal in front is still in focus. |

This is probably the best flower entered into this challnege. The only problem
is, there are WAY too many of them. I always have a problem with unoriginal ideas. Great Shot though. - 7 I have to give all the other flowers 5's. Nice Job. The lighting is perfect and I love the beads of water. Good Work. |

| Flawless, basically, except for the tiny angular shadow on the leading edge of the upright petal. Well-done, certainly. But there's a sort of arbitrary sterility to the framing of this composition that isn't helping you IMO. Still, a strong entry. |

| Very pretty flower. I'd have liked to see the difference b/w light and dark be a little less harsh, but otherwise very nice. |
