Thanks for all the comments. One of the interesting things in the 5 challenge for me was capturing the idea of "five". It is an odd number, and when applied to groups of people there usually is more than one dynamic happening at a time..hopefully this shot conveys this..

*Greetings from the Critique Club*
This image in B&W has little appeal for me, especially considering the fact that it was taken for challenge 'Five'. The artists in the front three are in sharp focus, while the last two are out of focus (probably due to large spacing between third and fourth). To make the matters worse, the expressions on the last two appear, as if unattatched from the scene. (Not photographer's fault though, but a better opportunity may be looked, if it exists).

would have made a very powerful image in the arts section of a newspaper.

A well positioned shot! Good angle, good lighting, good contrast. My only minor gripe is that the depth of field doesn't include every person in the photo...but I think that makes it look kind of neat too. Well done!

Oh - this is one of those things where you guess what the deal is with those people - I'll give it a shot...
She is pregnant and just told her boyfriend standing in front of her. But she also told him the father is his best friend, the guy standing behind him. The 4th guy is saying "I couldn't be the father because I just... "(hand gesture says it all), the last guy is just there waiting for the bus. Am I close?

Hehehe - hope that wasn't offensive. Just havin fun. You've probably been clicking that update button all week getting so tired of watching the fractional movements up or down in your average vote cast and seeing boring comments trickle in - this should've broken the monotony for ya. See - sackheads aren't all bad.

Overall, I like it. Nicely done.

This picture is so cheesy I like it!

I like the composition for its perspective - five figures fading into the distance. Nice tonal range, the B&W route was a good choice.

Great take on the challenge. I especially like the depth of field, and the black and white really adds to the feeling of the photo. Picture looks well thought out and executed.

Interesting take on the challenge theme. I like the way the black and white works here. Really calls attention to the front two actors.

This is very appealing! I like the way they are all standing in different directions. Black and white works reallywell. All-in-all, a really cool photo!!!
