Challenge: Dreams (Advanced Editing IV)
Collection: 4.x
Camera: Canon EOS-D60
Lens: Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 II/III USM
Location: My back yard
Date: May 5, 2005
Aperture: f/4
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/3000
Galleries: Abstract, Water
Date Uploaded: May 5, 2005

Used a garden hose, hand-held it in front of the camera. No cropping, I wanted the whole thing, it's a dream!
Adjusted levels, desaturated (not all the way though), and burned the heck out of the dark areas and dodged the light ones a bit. Resized, saved for web.
Focal distance:75mm

I would have liked this better if the water droplets were a bit sharper. More negative space or a narrower DOF might have helped as well. Although this makes an interesting abstract, it might have been more interesting if the drops were flying toward / colliding with something.

If you ever get a change to go outside the universe you'd find the view much like this surprisingly.

I really like the surreal aspect of this shot. It really looks neat! Congrats on a great job.

I rather like the way that there is a band running diagonally. There seems to be a couple of 'smudges' at the centre of the top of the frame - would this be water droplets too close to the lens? I think that they, to a certain extent, detract from the rest of the image.

This is my second go-around =) - Hmmm... you must be a man =) haha. Very nice photo... very creative. I really like it! There are a few small blurry spots that are a little distracting... maybe some of it got on your lens? Otherwise, great job!
