| Flowers always seem to abound and are appropriate for this challenge. This is one of the best of the lot. It is very dificult to get contrast right on a daffodil (sp?) |

| marvelous colour and detail! Great DOF. Composition-wise, the petal to the right is wanted in the shot, otherwise, I would say perfect framing with the blue sky and green leaves background. There is a bit of a shadow on the top of the flower that distracts some. still, great shot! 8 |

| Excellent shot of a daffodil. DOF is good and the blue sky in the background brings in the third major color successfully. I probably wouldn't have cropped out the petal in the right but that is a matter of taste - Gary. |

| I would've included more of that soft blue sky, and perhaps cropped out 2/3 of the whole thing, leaving the middle 1/3 as an abstract set of colors. |
