Nice shot and nice warm colors. I'm no expert, but I think the shell appears to be very bright in the areas under direct sun light. Also, I think dof could be a litlle longer - the transition between the focused area and the blurred one seems to be to sudden and exagerated (or maybe its just my eyes... lol). Anyway, good job.

I like the light and the clarity, but the photo just doesn't have any "Wow" factor to it.

I like this title because either the shell itself is away from the beach or the snail that lives inside is away

nice shot. I like the shallow DOF, however it probably would be as good with all space in sharp focus, too.
