Great composition. You appear to be oversharpened a tad though. It almosts hurts my eyes. Too bad you have so much reflection too. I have a shot of one of these from the On the Edge challenge that had the same area of the bug blown out... Damn things are very reflective!

This seems slightly over sharpened. I don't care for the hot spots on the top of the bug.

A little over exposed, esp on top. Nice detail.

Nice capture of the ladybug. I would like to see less detail in the background. I think that would help the foreground 'pop' out. 6

Meets the challenge well but the highlights in the background are distracting.

IMO feel this needs to be a little more subdued, less sharpened, more natural

Nicely done. Good use of DOF to seperate the main object from the rest of the image. Extremely sharp focus! <6>

The sun light is too harsh. Nice capture with the lady bug. It is just so happy at the end of the leaf.

This is a very interesting shot, unfortunately the ladybug has a bright burned out highlight right on his head.

Nice detailed shot of a Landybug. Probably would fit the subject better if you weren't so close.

Like the idea and the colours. Looks over sharpened to me and a shame about the blowen out highlights on and around the head. I do like how the bug is perched...

Are they also called ladybirds? I only ever heard of them as ladybugs. Either way, a very nice image, with good colors and contrasts.
