| The black dots on the background (probably on the lens) are distracting. Nice DOF, maybe rotate the ring a little so it's on the "up" side of the ring. |

| the angle actually seems a little odd to me, like one end is just floating. good contrast between the ring and background. Looks like there is some sensor dust that needs cloned out. |

| Hmmm...nice idea, execution is off a bit. First, the image is very small given that the maximum allowed is 640 pixels. Second - why the dust spots? It looks like the focus is fine at the front of the ring. Looks like the photog was standing in front of the light, evidenced by the dark reflection centered on the ring and the diamond seems dark as well. Nice effort - good luck. |

| Lighting is a bit harsh here. Reflections & soft lighting sources are so critical in something like this and tough to do as well. Not sure what the black specs are... |

Eeek, this doesn't make me want to buy this ring. The diamonds are basically non-existant, the gold is brassy, the reflections don't belong there, the highlights gotta go, and please, please, please, clean your sensor. Sorry, been there and done this. Shot about 300 peices before getting it "almost right".

| Seems to be a nice looking ring. Very hard to make out since the focus is off, there is no sharpness either. The lighting is odd, doesn't work very well with the background. There are a lot of impurities in this picture. If you shot in RAW, it would've been possible to save this picture with some good tweakings. Also some HUE and Saturation modifications would've helped greatly. 3 |

| There are some black speckles on the background that take away from the purity of the shot in my opinion, perhaps they could have been cloned out? |

| Hope you don't mind. This might be received as a rude comment and for that I am sorry. This is a members challenge and there isn't a reason I can think of to leave dust spots in the submitted picture. |

| You should have tried to remove the most obvious dust particles with an editing software. Member challenges allows spot editing. |

| Very nice ring, but if I were you I would have removed those little dots around the picture, lens dust?, by cloning. That is one of the advanatages of advance editing :) |
