 Shot at Monahan's Dock in Narragansett, RI. My girlfriend and I were getting some fried seafood from Starboard Galley on the first really warm day of the season, and decided to go sit on the rocks on the south side of the pier to watch the surfers.

Took out my long lens and started snapping away... caught this one as the temperatures started dropping.

Postprocessing included crop, unsharp mask, levels, some spot edits (cloned out a stray fin and a particularly offensive bit of seaweed, and added in some blue color to a grey area at the front of the wave from a cloud in the sky). Finally, resized.

it would look nicer if the left guy was wacing the camera

cool but composition is a bit too centered. Would have more depth if the surfer on the left was away from the middle of the frame.
