This is Tinker. She belongs to the dairy farmer behind us. When I went out to take my "Abandoned Buildings" shot, the lighting was perfect for a "Country Lane" type shot. Tinker just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Used Auto Sat, Auto Color Balance, Adjusted Brightness/Contrast, Resized, Sharpened, Used Remove Digital Camera Noise, then added 2 pixel black border.

Great eye. What an excellent perspective on what could be a run of the mill scenic.

I've posted one with similar sky condition and I'm being picked on by that. I hope they weren't too hard on you. It's a beautiful picture. I love the curved lines and the shadow actually give it more levels. Like I said, I like the negative space created by the calm sky. Best of luck!

Marvelous 'S' curve that leads the eye into this peaceful scene. Nice work. 8

This picture is very cool. You should have cut the heaven a bit though, it would have been a 10. But a 8 for now.

I like the way you use the road to lead into the pic. The dog is an excellent touch.

Cropping out some of the sky may improve the photo? I like how the road heads to the house.

I like the basis of this - bot sure about your placing of the horizon line, it would perhaps have more impact for being either higher or lower in frame; and of course you have problems with compression, particularly in the ksy areas - which could also happily have been toned down somewhat compared to the land. But as I said, that basic composition, the curving road, the dog, the whatever on the horizon, I like very much.

Cropping out about half of the sky makes this look better yet.

nice composition, lovely colors. hope the viewers give this one the time it needs to sink in, otherwise they'll miss the whole point. i'll bet this was a wonderful moment to experience. good luck!

Sweet. The building in the lower left adds even more... hmm and I just noticed the dog in the road to add a sense of depth. Cool photo.

Gorgeous curves but perhaps too much sky and not enough light on the dog (it wouldn't have mattered so much if the title was different!). Well observed and captured

Nasty vignetting in the corners, great colours but not sure compositionally about the shadows near the bottom of the frame.

The shadow is just a bit too strong. Takes up too much of the small foreground. Nice scene.
