First try at this:

Took this in my front yard of my two girls. Separated the layers, blurred and made background black and white. Wanted the girls to stand out as much as possible. Had some left over color, so tried to blend as well as possible. The effect isn't perfect, but it's my first time! Let me know what you think!

Somewhat out-of-the-box, but I like it.. 8

There is a sense of unrealitiy about this, as if I am witnessing a memory or time rushing by. I love it.

This one is really good but it would be a smash if you didn't locate the girls in the center.

nice processing, but this is more idyllic than extreme to me. (5)

Conceptually and visually this really pleases me. I wish you had better control of your tones though, the burned-out highlights are hurting you.

Masking of the un-filtered areas need work. ie. Clean up the lines around the girls feet.

interesting, but I think the effect is a little too strong.

Nice idea, but one can definitely tell that the bulr is fake (halos around the girls)

It certainly creates a a great sense of space, depth and freedom. I like the shot a lot, but I think you should have done better with the selection around the girls.
