 Went for a walk today to check out this abandoned apartment building I'd seen from the road many times. There were so many things left behind by previous tenants: TV's, closets, pics. I salvaged a couple little Japanese religious statues. The building was truly crumbling. The ceilings had caved in in many places and, as I was taking pictures, it started to rain into the rooms I was photographing. This room seemed to have been the shared washroom for th apartments.

Though I suspect you may not appeal to the majority of the voting bunch, I want to commend you for a very well seen, composed and exposed photograph.

I really like this photograph, and I don't know why I do. Muted colors, the line of the water faucets. Handprints on the wall. Excellent composition. Focus and lighting right on. It certainly looks abandoned.

good entry! just what i was hoping to see more of in this challenge. good subject and composition and capture light and shadow that enhances the empty forelorn look of abondoned buildings. grat job!
