This adorable kitty is just one of six that have in various ways become part of my household. His name is Pinto and he's not yet fully grown. This is actually just a snapshot that I edited a bit, so I really don't expect it to do very well. I actually had several photos that were technically much better and would've required a bit less editing, but his expression in this... I think it's adorable.

Editing: Resized, darkened the background, spot edited on the eyes, dodged and burned the fur, sharpened, used adjustment layers and blurring to soften it a bit. Added border.

This is an admirable rendition with lighting that adds mystique by creating almost an abstract piece of work, yet the portrait is totally satisfied. Good work. Bumping up. And another bump!

nice composition and a good looking cat, but the image overall is too dark for my liking

A little blown out. Almost looks like s/he doesn't have a nose.

Background too dark, can't see all of his features. That makes a nice shot, but just not my "preference".

Nice portrait, I would have seperated the cat from the background. or just maybee highlight in the fur would have done the job. I would put this on my wall
