Cute kid. Good focus. Nice composition. Still - it is kind of boring.

Spending more than 5 minutes on this would help.

I have to give more points on the technique vs the challenge.

I wonder if she can reall read upside down or if she's just looking at pictures "right side up"

The lighting is very good on this shot.. good idea as well.

makes you wonder what she's looking at ... a little more light on the left side of the scene

Like the idea.....composition.........
but I think the expression could've been more quizzical like "What is THAT?!?!"

The reading things upside down theme is clearly overused and doesn't mean much.

Everything about this photo is soft and lovely :). It seems a bit too deliberately posed to me, but that's only a minor point.

A compliment in disguise: A very nice portrait marred, I think, by trying to make it fit the challenge. She looks like a smart girl (whose been very nicely lit, I might add), but I can't think of any reason she'd be looking at a National Geographic upside down. Or, a nice ad for NG, also marred -- if she was holding the mag the right way round, the cover would be well lit and highlighted.

Another WONDERFUL shot! I n the top three!

Cute shot. I don't like the clipping of the magazine though -- it seems like it's one of the main focal points.

I understand some of the national geographic photos and articles much better when I read them upside down as well :)

Hee hee, I'm sure she's still way smarter then I am!!
Nice photos and right on the challenge!
