Well, it's true isn't it?
Maybe I'm getting old, but the lambs seem to come ealier and earlier every year. This one is about one or two days old I think. They already hung a stupid marker on his ear, crappy laws.
It is a lot of fun to watch the ones that are just born. Their first steps and first hours, their fears, their experiments, their discoveries (White Lambs can Jump!)... :)

I'm in agreement with the title for sure. There is something so sweet and special about lambs. You captured this guy perfectly. If I could change anything, I might clone out his ear tag. Your depth of field is wonderful. |

i like the way this shot was done - head on. Most people would take it from the side or just show the head. This is much better - give the image depth. I'm not sure what would improve this image. Best I can say is its cute. But it really doesn't have the WOW factor for me (my own judgement, not a defining moment type thing). I'm giving you an 8 - 1-7 is technical, 8-10 are degrees of wow. You got me to come back so you get +1 for that. Thanks! |

gorgeous pet portrait - hang on, wait - wrong challenge! Great baby animal pic. title does well to tie image to challenge. great DoF & colour. maybe lacks slight "x factor" needed to score very highly, but I like! |

Your subject is adorable, but more importantly the softness to your shot works wonderfully-I love the somewhat shallow depth in the focus, and rich colours. |

And then we get shaven and later eaten.
The image is magnificent, one of my favorites for the challenge. I love the colors, especially the little ribbon (Could it be your future title on dpchallenge?) which contrats well with the grass. The soft lighting and the DOF isolates the subject I don't know why but in a very innocent manner. I actually love the fact, that the coat is imperfect, that there's dirt and yellowness on the fur, it makes it well too real and fitting to the challenge. I really can't find anything wrong here. |
