Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Hi Swash...

I like your theme and the photo seems to relay that theme very well... The watches do seem to be suspended in mid air.

What puzzles me about this photo is that the watches don't seem to be very sharp and crisp like I would expect them to be from a shot with the 717 camera. Looking at this image, I would assume that there was a lot of light on the scene, but looking at your exposure information, I would assume this was incorrect based on a 1/2" exposure time.

Maybe the post processing to make the background white is what caused the watches to not be as sharp. I noticed that no one commented on the sharpness though so maybe it didn't play much of a role in the score..

Keep up the good work :)

Hi Swash..I gave you a 7...the number of watches ,in my oppinion, would have worked out better as five or even three.I would have used the 3 on the left. The concept is good and the fishing line worked well. I'll have to remember that and try something simular.

A much tighter crop of this would make it even more effective I think. The chain on the pocket watch looks out of place almost with that sharp angle.

Nice photo quality. But there are too many clocks and watches. They kind of just look like they were thrown together for the image.

Great shot, works well with the title. Love it - I'd be interested to know how you managed to make them 'float'- I can't make out any Thunderbird-style strings! One of the best I've seen this week. 9
