Inspired by a sports theme and having Table Tennis setup in my garage I decided to try my first low light shot. Used handheld flashlight with white paper covering to lessen the strength.

Hello,
I think you did a really good job composing this shot! The darker area around the edges help keep focus on the paddle and ball. I like the overall warm feeling as it adds to the nostalgia here. Kinda brings me back to my youth playing ping pong in the church basement...anyway.... The only area that bothers me alittle is the brightness of the top of the net crossing over the paddle. That could be brought down a bit and it would add more attention to the ball which would then be whiter. I also think on a shot like this you could actually soften it up to contribute to the mood. Overall, nicely done!

I should have kept this image sharpened and not tried neatimage for the first time, but the scratchy table was bugging me. =o Thx for the comments!

While the overall image may be a little soft, the lighting and composition are very strong. 9 -danny
