 I placed my wall clock above my microwave for this one! I hope you all enjoy this one! I entered another challenge but had the wrong idea! This time I figured simplicity was good and I should worry more about the quality, and creative aspect!

Critique Club Assignment:

Initial: Nice tones ... antique feel, interesting light.

Technical: Good composition. The lighting is nice, however there is grain in the dark areas. Could be a bit more in focus in some areas.

Suggestions: Since it has an antique feel, and uses antique or old fashioned-feel/diner-feel shakers I think an area of improvement would be the clock hands moved to the 5:00 position. 5:00 was the traditional time for dinner before this world became crazy,.. in America at least.. I don't know where you are from off hand so maybe this is different.
Anyway, the point is the clock saying something arbitrary like 6:33 has less impact than, say 5:00 or even 6:00..

Nice still life. The shadow on the clock face conveys the passage of time in a subtle way. Good light angle.
