I tried a couple along these lines, but couldn't find a leaf half that cool. The texture is amazing. Your first ribbon was a nice shot, but this one is brilliant. The backlighting works wonders.

Excellent. Great detail - almost looks like woven cloth - and lovely subdued colours. Not sure if the vertical placement excites enough, but the lines flowing away from the stalk do liven up the shot.
