You're right the image is dark, but I guess that's the way it should be? Feels right. I agree with bear_music, the face should be brighter to put emphasis on it, make it stick out a bit more against the background.

Great shot and I'm glad to see you back in the mix. Hope to see more from you in the coming challenges.

Great tonalities and mood here. It's dark, yes, but it feels right to me. The face needs to be a fair bit lighter, though, for the composition really to work.

The emphasis in this picture is down by the wheel. I think it would have been an excellent photo if the focus was on his face; lighten up his face a little. I think the colors are perfect for this shot. 8

Like this one alot. The tone is great. I'm guessing top 5. Placing you fourth. Good luck.

I like the effect of the dark tone in this but I think it's just a little too dark in places, especially around his head. The dirty shirt is a great touch.

A nice photo but it seem very under exposed to me.

It feels a tad too dark but I'm sure you were aiming for that "dirty" look. Love the compositional elements and the candid feel of the person. Very nice entry, I hope you do well.

I like everything about this photograph. Its deceptively casual character makes it easy to overlook the meticulous composition and expert execution that went into creating it. Which just goes to show how very good it is; this photographer is skilful enough that it isn't necessary to show off by getting in the way of the image. Mastery & maturity. 10

push your white level to 189 in levels and I'll give you a 10! Great shot, I love the organic feel of it, just a tad dark for my taste.

My favorite so far. The lighting is great as is the soft processing. Everything about this is perfect. Going in my favorites now which is rare; I usually wait to add favorites until the end of the challenges. 10
