I took this one of myself with the self timer. I don't know how I was able to look so calm in the picture. In reality, I was hitting the shutter, then dashing into the weeds with my guitar flying all over the place. I liked the wide crop with my whole body visible, but decided that it was a little more visually interesting to go with this crop.

Post: Slight hue/sat, brightness/contrast, crop.

Splendid! This image is so fresh and light. I really enjoy the vivid green of the grass and the richness of the wood in the guitar.

The focus is great, fits the challenge very nicely. I would've liked a bit more light on the young man in the area closest to the bottom of the image, just to lighten it up a bit more, particularly by his face since his hands seem to have some highlighting on them.

I like the composition for the most part, I would've liked to see just a bit more grass around the bottom so it didn't feel like his elbow was being cut off, but really that's a minor point. A very solid image, I find the freshness of it to be my most favorite aspect. Well done. I gave a 7.

Nice rich colors, perhaps a tad to yellow on the skin tones, but I like the hard contrasts of the grass. The pose is interesting, but a bit static. Another angle or sloped perspective could make it more dynamic.

I wish!. Totally perfect in my book. Stunning effort. No fancy schmancy photography, pure execution and communication of emotion. 10/10

A top ten for me, great picture. Really capture the challenge's essence. Hopefully a ribbon.

nice shot. great field! i can't wait to find out where this was shot so i can go hang out there (and be happy). i might have turned up the saturation a little, perhaps not quite such a tight crop and tried to get some more DOF - but overall still one of the better efforts for this challenge.

Great capture. Something gives me the impression that this is self portrait but I may be wrong. You have really conveyed the feeling of relaxation. 7
