The scene itself is awesome, but the focus is lacking, and the light is a bit harsh. it might have done well if changed to black and white and grainified a bit.

This pic just screams B & W to me for some reason.

Great shot.

picture postcard job this - well done

Crop the bottom or right to get rid of sleeve? Darn, losing that foreground water didn't really help. The umbrella hiding the faces is a neat touch.

I LOVE venice. Great shot

I feel that this would look a little better with an extra touch of sharpening.

venice? would love to see this in person one day. nice shot.

Great bridge. Is this venice? I love the people with the umbrella, but it seems a little too compressed . I wish it wasn't because it could be a really beautiful picture, the couple giving it the extra character that makes it great.

I really like this photo! I like the subjects on the bridge. However wish it could have been focused better.

Yes it is. And if I wanted to cross it, it would have to be sans wife. It's an appealing, whimsical photograph ... maybe it's the umbrella. 7

Cools shot.

Cute little bridge... Venice? I like the perspective, although it would have been nice to be able to get rid of that gray mass on the right.

i'd love to be in Venice for this challenge, too:)

Very nice view but perhaps too bright and washed out
02/17/2005 01:01:58 PM
Too pixelated. Try turning your ISO to 100 and don't compress your JPG so much.

Truley lovely scene. Too bad about the head on the far right. 7

I think this would have been better taken from the water, the umbrella distracts a wonderfull photo.

A pretty little bridge. An ordinary little snapshot.
02/16/2005 01:42:05 PM
good subject, seems to be problems with the focus
02/16/2005 01:18:04 PM
Nice candid. Unfortunately image quality is very bad, probably too much jpg-compression (you're allowed 150k and used only 43).

Cool bridge. Image a bit busy overall.
02/16/2005 09:23:25 AM
A narrower depth of field or something to help distinguish the bridge from the other details would hav helped.
02/16/2005 06:36:31 AM
