Old rail bridge over Napier estuary, New zealand.
The aim was to achieve a sKetched look, without cheating.
The pic was over exposed on shot. slight colour shift, then sharpened, then contrast boost.
You experts out there may not agree, but I like it.

seems a little overexposed to me... but excellent DOF. 6.

Looks too washed out.

I don't know, I haven't been a photographer for very long, maybe this one is above me, but I don't think that this is a very good photo. No good darks and no good lights. It looks like it's been overexposed, then darkened.

fuzzy white balance seems off

Too over exposed for my taste
02/20/2005 06:45:02 PM
too bright

This looks really blown out.

A little too blown out on highlights for tastes but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm not sure what effect you were going for here, the sky is too gray. I dont see any detail and I just dont think this processing works for this image.
02/18/2005 11:22:19 PM
Just my opinion but this effect leaves me a little cold.

A little washed out for my tastes.

The over exposure removes the natural colour and look of this wooden bridge.
02/18/2005 02:51:54 PM
I rather like the high-key effect, although the sky has a strange grey look to it.
02/17/2005 08:37:43 PM
I don't really like the effect used on this photo. I would like to see it in its normal coloring.
02/17/2005 08:13:26 PM
Is your monitor okay?
02/17/2005 07:31:57 PM
overexposed... also I would have liked an angle that shows me more water
02/16/2005 11:58:40 PM
it's a little overexposed. You may have been going for that effect to enhance the feel of desertion, though. I personally would have liked it less washed out.

Very, very cool image, but more digital art than photogprahy I think.
02/16/2005 11:10:07 PM
Oh my... what happened here? Looks ..... ummm.... a little overprocessed?
02/16/2005 09:55:52 PM
this whole image seems blown out. nice choice of subject though.

Way over exposed.

this picture seems overexposed.

little overexposed for my taste
02/16/2005 03:08:13 PM
Wow... something really whacky happened to this one, I'm afraid. It's all washed out and lacks contrast. Not sure what you may have done to accomplish that.
02/16/2005 09:41:33 AM
Little bit washed out looking
02/16/2005 07:34:57 AM
Way over exposed, which takes away from the impact. Or is this the kind of effect you were looking for?
02/16/2005 06:15:10 AM
too much contrast i think, overblown highlights.. sorry i'm not too fond of this one. Better luck next time! :)
02/16/2005 06:05:48 AM
Over-exposed :(
