I find the background distracting and the insect is a bit lost being placed against the dark patch.

Eww... nice clarity, though. The design on what I assume is a plate is a little distracting, though, and I'm not sure about whatever is in the background. If you could've used a solid white plate and a more solid background, this would be much more appealing and easy to see. Still, the detail is great.

I like this pic but the chair in the backround is a little distracting. And the blue line from the plate in the front is a bit distracting.
