| Keep experimenting. I find this photo completely unbearable to look at because I find the yellow smudges too distracting. And the rest of the photo is dull dull dull also boring and uninteresting. But I know there must be many other ways of using these kinds of lights in a photo. And in that sense the photo is in the vangard. |

| The glow, whatever it is, distracts too much from the overall subject (your self portrait). The image ends up unsatisfying, I think. |

| I can tell you were trying to be creative. I'm not sure that the effect represents your true intention. The shot is not lit as well as it could have been, and the colors aren't as visually interesting as some of the other submissions. |

| I'm not sure what you were going for here, but I'm missing it. Bright areas are way too bright. I don't think there is enough other things in the image to give a mood. The picture just looks too distracting from the light parts. |
