I know this photo won't score well, because the rest of my face is missing. I hate my chin, so I took the photo this way. I like the feel of the photo.

Really liking this one! I'm personaly a big fan of high/medium contrast B&W portraits (wow, that was a mouthful ;-)) Personaly i thiknk there are a couple things you could have done without showing your chin ;-) 1) Offcentered crop- I'd crop maybe 20-30pixels off your finger on the right. This (IMHO) makes most shots appear more "clean" and especialy in your case make you "part of the canvas" by making your hair actualy bind and appear to the the canvas.
2) On my monitor i can see a couple imperfections in the black background to the left... simple cloning

I hope i gave you a little to concider for your next shoot!

Kimberly? Trying to guess everyone. The contrast works well for this shot. :)

I like the detail in your hair...the highlights are a bit blown out, but its a good core of a shot with a bit better lighting. it has a good feel. 6

I really like this. :) I like the crop and I love the tone of the black and white. Your hair is tack-sharp.

i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.

you have chosen a unique perspective to portray yourself. in most situations, i would complain about the lighting washing out the details and character, but i can see that is what you are after: good job! the overall composition and expression work well. this is a good example of recognizing what you are after before shooting, and then following through on the execution. 8 from me.

What a beautiful study! The expression is very moving and there is enough of the feautures to meet the challenge. Bumping up.

I like the way you cut this shot. IM not sure if I like the blown out areas on the fingers forehead and cheeks. Great eyes that become the subject since you cut the bottom off. well done.

Unique crop, interesting composition. A bit contrasty, but works for me (appears deliberate). Great job.

Ha! I just made a comment on another portrait that I wish they hadn't cropped their chin. But in your shot, I love the crop! Beautiful portrait you've taken here. I'd like to see the the highlights in your face a little less white, though. Besides the crop and pose, the parts of this shot I like best are your eyes and hair. Nice work.
