 This was a pink tulip I bought out of my DPC petty expenditure budget ;)

After shaking the camera for an hour taking my usual blur shots, I tried a couple of focus shifts like Heida did in the impressionism challenge during a long exposure. Really like what it did for this, so I went with it. Not many changes before the typical resize -- especially given I just took it at 11:15 EST and then not much time to process. Mainly processed in Bibble, did color balancing, small saturation boost, (only 15 on the Bibble slider) and small crop.

I agree with graphicfunk on this one. Your shots are all wonderful, and probably better suited framed, and hung on a wall! This should have placed MUCH higher, but you know how the voters are in here, we've talked about it before. You keep up what your doing, because it works wonderfully! B

This image steals my senses away 8. Bumping up another notch to 9 The final bump 10. This is by far one of those images that enamors the viewer.

This is beautiful. I love the softness, the colors and the composition. I hope your scores are fairing better than mine with a similar subject & shallow dof! Yours does have more color -- mine is all pink. Best of luck!

one of the top shots for sure. the soft focus goes really well with the softness of pink. i also like the bit of green. it compliments the pink very well.

Personally Ilike it a lot. We'll see how it fares. The green lower right seems a bit too extreme for this image, though. A strong score from me.
