The orange color is mostly due to light pollution rather than the moon, but it doesn't sound as good! I've just increased brightness and contrast and neatimage of course...

Eeeee! I love that song!! "By the light of the moon, he's a frenchman for the night, by the light of the moon, it'll be alright"

One of my favorite Jimmy Buffet songs!!

Oh and awesome picture by the way!

Love the stars. Unusual to see moonlight with that color configuration. Very imaginative. Super rich tones!! Good one.

Doesn't ring true to me, a sky with that much light *and* stars at the same time. Pretty though, even if a bit artificial.

this is one of the most beautiful images i've ever seen on DPC...Everythong looks great - the composition, lighting, sillhouettes of the trees, fog, stars, everything! Great job!

Nice color. I think I would of cropped a little more of the bottom out on having just a small amount of the silhouette ground leaving the trees.

Returning for comment.
Well this is my pick for a Ribbon, I just love the soft glow of this photo and the sharpness of the silhouetted trees. If there was anything that I would improve it could be the levelling of the foreground but maybe it slopes that way naturally. Congrats and I hope I'm somewhere near you at the end!

You title throws me: is this really moonlight? Looks like the looming of a distant city rather. I like the effect nevertheless. I don't get a great deal from it though - against the starts the effect of the moving clouds is effective, but the horizon is a bit ordinary, and whilst obviously necessary to the shot, I'm left wanting more of something. 6

Have you considered a hue shift? I wonder how this would appear in an electric blue. I think the stars save this exposure, as the lower right is a bit hot. Had you decreased the exposure length, perhaps those stars might have not manifested itself. Overall a very dramatic and mysterious entry. 7

I keep seeing shots that have this look, and people seem to like them... but to me, they seem over-processed.. even thought it has nice color and lighting

Great job. The light is amazing and the star detail makes the shot. A little more interest on the ground might have improved it, but very nice.
