A Perfect Three (redux)

Boy - I feel cheap here, redoing an earlier shot of my own. I looked and looked for the leaf I used previously, but alas, it seems the workmen chopped it off in the latest massacre of our garden.

The camera has been upgraded, so better quality. The background has been lost, and the 3 isn't as nice.. But I'm going with it. Lets see if it scores anywhere near the last shot!

Tech Details - 1/3 level camera flash. Lots of PS work to eliminate the hotspots caused by it. When dodging them, they turned nice and gray, so I had to use a bit of creative airbrushing to get them green again.

Why the all the negative space? I don't know to be honest. My fiance thinks it should be less, but I think it gives more of an edgy feel to the shot. There's the three... everything else is wide open.

1.3 points less. Was it the BG that made all the difference? And only one person commented on it being similar to my last shot..

Interesting idea. I love the colour brightness. I little more contrast couldve help in the definitions of the leaf. Unfortunatly, the left side as a ghost green blur which breaks the effect. Perhaps missed because the Monitor brightness was not strong enought (print). a closer crop from the left wouldve fixed the probllem. 7.

This is extremely nice. Composition works, and the idea is great. If only the bottommost spike wouldn't shine that much nor the leave glow that much on the bottom part (the top part is great)!
