Dimitrii: I like the highkey effect (or whatever you want to call it) a lot in this photo as well as the other one. It gives the photos a nice imperfect artists look and imply the possible harshness of portrayed beauty. The cigarette is a nice touch. Does anyone actually use a cigarette holder thing anymore? I'm not sure, but it does give an old feeling that makes the images timeless. I would have liked to see the hand in this shot, especially since it's leaning on something. It gives the photo a sense of unbalance when it is not included. |
