Challenge: Breaking New Ground (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location: Ionia, MI
Date: Jan 15, 2005
Aperture: f/11
ISO: 100
Shutter: 10sec
Date Uploaded: Jan 17, 2005

This was done using a 10sec shutter speed. After taking the snap the focal length is decreased from 55mm to 35mm to 24mm on two second intervals. Post Processed in Photoshop with levels and color adjustment, croping.

I was messing around taking pics of my lucky lighter and tinkering with the different things on my camera so I though lets try it and I saw this cool ghostly effect so I said lets go deeper and mess with it more. I was going to use other subjects but I thought well the light helped me discover it so it gets to be the subject.

This a fairly cool technique which is well executed. Although the fabric and green flare spoil it just a litttle.

I don't know, how you have done it, but this really breaks grounds for me!

Zoom effects are fun. You chose the right centre point for this one, and the end effect is nicely exposed. The neutral background also works well to keep the focus on the subject.
