Nice use of leading lines and framing of the ship. Great job!

Awesome! I like this better than the ones with the cliche palm tree on the shoreline.

The lighting, sharpness, and composition remind me of a scene from a typical video game; the ship is the dot on the exclamation point.

a great catch...would be perfect (in surreal sence) if there were no clouds and no boats, but beautiful as is

One of my favorites this challenge, just terrific framing, textures and tones!

paradise including nice rusty pipe? an otherwise beautiful shot though.

Well composed shot without over-saturating it. Nice point of view and detail.

Nice shot! I like the composition...all the lines work very well together.

This is making me think Kenny Chesney. Beautiful sand and amazing water. The exposure is very good cinsidering the difficulty of exposing all that white correctly. I love the feeling of motion created by the waves. I think the best choice you made here was in being off center. It really emphasizes the different textures and colors. 10

I like this composition, and the fact that you cropped at the overhead rafters. Excellent exposure and rich colors.

What a stunning location. Not sure that I'm completely sold on the composition, but I do like the contrast between the rough and rusty pilons and one of the most beautiful bits of ocean one is likely to encounter.

I tried to get a shot similar to this and failed miserably. You captured what I saw and wanted to express. Congrats on an inspired piece of work!

An interesting shot. Perhaps moving to the left a little and getting down a little lower to make the end boards frame the sailboat out in the water a bit better (ie have the whole mast in the "frame") would have improved this a bit... otherwise a great shot... 8

Interesting but the fisheye look doesn't appeal to me. I also find with the hi contrast shots that the white balance is throwin off and makes everything appear to be a bit blurry. Beautifuls colors. Well done and keep up the good work in 2005. <7>

don't you find that when you're in the islands, you can make just about anything look good? great job with the exposure!

A captivating image! Interesting dichotomy between the gorgeous water, the foam, the sky (with those great clouds) and the "windows". Maybe it's aquadra-chotomy, since there are four elements here.

Great exposure, interesting lines, but IMO the subject has only slight appeal. ...6...

I've seen a lot of shots like this, but this is one of the coolest. Seems to be a bit of wide angle bending but that's okay. Typically shots like this have some really blown out areas, which even though they appear here too, you managed to control them well. Great colors.

Good mix of textures and excellent framing make this a very effective image.
The shadows on the white surf are a nice finishing touch.

Wonderful image and colours. Like the fact that you took this image slightly off centre and the boat out in the ocean...Wish I was there right now. good shot.

What a great image this is, definitly a window to paradise. The colors are wonderful, good exposure, keeping the colors on the sky and the detail on the water. Very nice indeed.

Really like the contrast level. Somehow setting up to fully frame the center boat and block out the side one would have been really nice.
