The technique I used in this photograph was "overexposure." I know this is hardly innovative or unique now, but I wanted to sneak into this challenge and I couldn't produce what I thought was a decent photograph with a unique or innovative technique. I know I'll lose points for that and get a lot of comments about it, but hopefully some people will like the photograph as well.
As far as editing goes I adjusted levels, switched to grayscale, and unsharp mask.

This picture had the most potential if not for the blownout right side,I think this would be a fantastic shot..
I have trouble seeing how you met the challenge criteria. But I have the same issue with alot from this challenge.
B&W was a good choice for this I would go back for a resout it looks like a great locale.
5 from me but I would have easily gone 7 or 8 if the right side was not so over exposed.
Interesting technique - like the high key effect and the way it fades to white. Makes a high contrast image more interesting like this although compositionally I think a lower viewpoint might have been better so the bridge doesn't dissect the telescope.
