very simple this; not sure quite how unique a technique this is, but it's something i thought of, thought i'd try, and think i'm pretty ha[[y with.

basically, i applied two strips of scotch sticky tape across the lens. and that's it. post editting included curves, brightness, cropping and sizing, and a gentle sprinkle of neatimage. due to the basic rules, can't get rid of the dust spots (due to the tape, naturally) but it's a prett good result, methinks. hoping for a plus 6!

I really like this one! I didn't get a chance to vote or enter this challenge, but my first idea when I saw it was to try and create a digital Holga look. I didn't think of using scotch tape, but this is exactly the effect I was looking for. Great job.

This looks like a cool technique, well chosen time of day to shoot - quality of light looks inviting.

THere isn't a single thing I dislike about this picture.

I adore the curves, the lines, the blurs, the clarity, the lighting. From the lightspots to the reflections to just..EVERTHING. Wow. good stuff :)

I'm guessing your new technique is taking sun-facing shots. Really blows out the top right, but I like the shine it creates on the walkway and the train. Good job.

This is very cool. I don't have a clue how you did this but it sure works for the shot. Excellent submission and good luck.

I'm curious to know if this was achieved by wiping fog off your lens because I tried some shots like that and didn't use them. I really like the mood in this. 8

This just has a great feel to it. There is definite emotion there. Kinda makes me sad.
