technically this isn't "Galloping Gertie." The original bridge destroyed itself due to resonance - this is the new bridge that replaced it.

beautiful shot though.

Tacoma Narrows?

Slightly out of focus, but a good perspective. Waiting for more interesting light would have really helped you here, in my opinion, and would have made your highlights much more dramatic and dynamic.

Nice work - great composition and nice colour. The image is perhaps a little bit blurry (perhaps camera shake) but in general well done.

Didn't this thing fall down??

Very nice shot! This view makes the span look longer than it really is. Some of the detail in the distance (islands/trees) aren\'t very clear, but the bridge is! Very good color! 9 Swash
*BTW - title is fairly well known, but I'll bet you're getting some comments that don't get it.

Nice composition. Isn't Galloping Gertie at the bottom of the Tacoma Narrows?

Would have shifted to the left to move the closer pillar to an anchor. Adjust the contrast.

Nice shot! And you can actually see the sky!! :D Very good perspective on filling up the pic with most of the bridge.

I really like the image. Very good image quality and perspective. The water even looks purple from the way the image was shot. Good job.
