I think you were lucky to have taken the shot in slightly diffuse light, otherwise the shot would be without the rich mid-tones that make it an exceptional sea-side shot. I find the sand more interesting than the sky, so I think the photo could be improved by moving the horizon upward, but there is an essential balance struck between the azure sky and the tawny beach sand that ought not be compromised; reframing risks this. Nice. And congrats! |

Horizon should be up or down --- not right in middle. Something in foreground to lead in would be good. |

Nice colors and exposure, I may have either raised or lowered (probably lowered) the camera angle a tad for improved composition (in my opinion). I like the textures/shadows at the lower left. Nice job. |

that is indeed a dune :-) wonderful colour combo, and the positioning couldn't be better. i look forward to finding out the creator so i can make it my desktop background (i always save files with the author's name in the title) |
