Gerber Daisy shot in front of a black piece of posterboard
tripod
water drops placed individually
lit by a 60W bulb in a desk lamp
Shot in the Flower Scene Mode on Camera

Edited in PS Elements 3.0:
Auto Levels
Adjusted hue/saturation
Despeckle
Sharpening

My first attempt at shooting flowers and I am pleased with the results. Just wish the left side of the flower was a bit sharper. I think it fits the title well too.

This should be one I'd pass by more readily but you've captured something here that distinguishes it from the norm. I think I'd call it the X-factor.

Simply, a proficient, skilful, attractive shot all round - well titled. I dare say that it may perhaps have looked even more seductive if we were closer, filling the frame. I dunno! : )

Looks like it was turned 90 degrees - the drops look suspended...

I like this a lot - am really enjoying taking in the details. I only have two suggestions: maybe try moving the center of the daisy a little further left, leaving an interesting negative space to the right. Although you may have tried that and found that you like this composition better. And it looks as though the petals nearest the light are a bit overexposed.

The viewer's eye is really drawn to the flower and it's details because of the contrasting black backdrop. The water on the petals sets this photo apart from any other flower photo. Gives it that extra something that makes the viewer study the photo with great interest.

Good movie choice, one of my faves =)
The light seems a bit harsh towards the top of the flower, but overall a nice shot.
