My 'play on words' of A Clockwork Orange

(F.Y.I. The movie 'A Clockwork Orange' was from the early 70's - A story of a young man who had a propensity to ultra-violence, rape, and Beethoven... subsequently went to jail, was brainwashed and rehabilitated, sort of.)

Editing: Slight color/levels adjustment, resized (uncropped).

Welcome to the CWO club. Your picture looks a little too dark, although the lighting is very dramatic. Your execution looks too simple compared to other CWO shots. 6.

I think this would have worked better if the clock hands didn't extend beyond the edges of the orange. That way the ends of the minute and second hands wouldn't be lost in the background. Otherwise, a great, simple shot. 9

I like your lighting and the overal simplicity of the shot.
Take it from your soulmate - one of the oranges is mine, which is not a big giveaway given the number of clockwork oranges (big bummer!) :)

Mmm, nice one. Now if you could have gotten a motion blur on the second hand... THAT would have been impressive :)

The nicest execution of this idea. Bump up.

By far the best of the ornage shots so far. What annoys me, with all oranges, is the shininess of the skin, and the fact that it's almost impossible to avoid those bright white reflections. Not sure what to suggest could be done about it - perhaps some hairspray or something to give it a more matte surface? it takes an edge off the intensity of the image for me.

Very creative! Wish the minute hand didn't extend off the orange, making it so hard to see.

I like how simplistic this one is. Great lighting, and I especially like the detailed shadow of the clock parts.
