First of all, it's not an orange, it's a tangerine. It's easier to take the flesh out of a tangerine without doing much damage to the skin. Stuffed some paper into it and placed my disassembled watch on the paper.

To highlight the watch inside the "orange" skin, percolated the skin in the back and inserted a small bulb from a chain of chrismas lights (luckily, it was still handy after Christmas). Used a flashlight for outside lighting. ND filter for longer exposure.

Post-Processing: crop, curves, contrast, USM, saved for web.

This should have placed much, much higher. Great shot, great angle, great lighting.

This was my favorite of the whole Clockwork Orange series of pictures. What is this movie anyway? Seems like there was tons of these pictures.

Welcome to the CWO club ;). I think all your picture needs is a more interesting background. I like the idea of having the mechanics inside. The orange looks a bit old though. 6.

Yup, I did Clockwork Orange myself. I might be biased, but I like mine better. (LOL)

Wow, really nice. There are a couple with the same setup, and it's very clever. I like what you did with the light and crop.

Ok! Was the tip of the orange like that or did you do some additional work on it? (The giant tit was in that movie wan't it?!) Wish there were more of the works showing. Nicely done. BOL

wish the shadow wasn't on the left side. if it were that the lights were coming from within the orange there shouldn't be such hard light on the right side of the orange. still a very good photo
