Greetings from the Critique Club!
My first impressions as a dog-lover are "What a BEAUTIFUl dog!" It seems your dog Bear is quite a star :) As a subject, his eyes are stunning and are the first thing that the viewer is attracted to. As far as subject matters go, this ones a beau!
Technically there are certain parts of this photograph that are a little bit unappealing. There is basically nothing "wrong" so to say with its technicality, but it seems flat to me. The DOF is great and that helps the shot out a lot. However, I think that you could have had more contrast in this shot as the lighting is just too diffure for my taste. Compositionally, I think that the top ear is cut off and for nit-picks this can be a little bit irritating.
This is still a pleasing and heart-warming shot.

| Cute dog (love those Siberian eyes), fits the title well, nice detail and exposure. (I personally would have liked a tighter crop, featuring the face a bit more prominently). Great job! |

| I'm normally not very fond of pet photos. You've done a really nice job with this -- good lighting, appropriate sharpening, good focus, and a handsome subject is always good. |

| Cute! Good lighting, nice soft colurs, the dog's head is sharp and the background is just as soft as it should be, good DOF. Some snow would have improved the picture. 6. |
