Hi kon!!!

COMPOSITION
I really like the tight vertical framing of this. It forces you to focus on the subject at hand. I also think you have effectively composed the shot in that I find my eyes going from the balls up the arms to the hand and back.

TECHNIQUE
The dof works well here. The balls *pop* by comparison to the rest of the blurred background. I also like the sepia tones, though they seem a bit dark to me, almost a brownish-orange, which gives the whites a strange color. I think if it was a bit lighter, with a touch more contrast, the black would really stand out.

OVERALL EFFECT
Someone phrased it nicely when they said this is a very masculine shot. It would look awesome on someone's billiard's room wall or soemthing. Another shot very nicely done!!!

I like the focus and the sepia look.

This shot really appeals to me! I love the angle, the use of DOF. A very "masculine" shot!

This is a well composed image. However I feel that it is the subject (so obviously sharp and shinny) that leads you to the leading line rather than the contrary. 8

Ohhh nice... In this case I'd rather see "whiter whites" but still pretty good.

you've got the right idea. Billiard balls are so colourful, why not use it?

Decent shot, I like the sepia tone and the composition, but it does not give me the impression on "leading lines" - If it had been shot from the other end of the que, looking down the que at the balls, then it may have had more impact for me per the challenge.

good work :) The tonal range of the image is a little flat overall.. maybe some level adjustments would bring that up some :) - setzler

Tones, clarity and dof are excellent. You have really captured this shot well. I like how the cue is in the background fading off. Excellent photo and Gl.
