This was a last minute idea for leading lines. I wanted to do something with macro photography for this challenge but couldn't think of anything to do. I'm sure this probably will not rate very well but I'm happy with this shot because I think it effectively meets the challenge and even though simple is quit interesting, IMO. I like how the shot actually has 4 leading lines to the main subject. One from the top, one from the right, one from the left and then the toothbrush handle from the bottom left corner. I'm really quit interested to see what feedback this shot receives.

Very well done. I love the blurred foreground - great job.

Very creative theme. Nice lighting. You might want to try a wider DOF. Nice job.

At least they're no longer rinsing with water from the old lead lines which caused brain decay...

Fits challenge well. You are using too much toothpaste.

Yes! the lins lead to the subject, and you managed to get the dof to only focus on the subject. a double whammy! now thats what the challenge is about! great job, great lighting, and while the subject is not the most exciting, you made it interesting with the way you shot it! (10)

I think that if you were able to get the handle in focus, this would have been awesome.

That reminds me...teeth feel a little furry. (C: excellent DOF and drawing towards the extra lines and colors in the toothpaste.

Great shot. I love it. I love the way you put the toothpaste on. I also like the reflection. The background is good. You get a 10 from me. Good luck.

Good idea. I think I personally would have liked it better if the handle of the brush were a little more in focus. I like the angle and perspective of the subject and the soft colors. The red in the paste really draws the viewer to the subject.

Very nice. Love the bright, clear colors. Maybe tiny bit too little DOF. If you could get rid of the greyish background on the right it would be even better. 8.

I like it. I've shot toothpaste/brush before. It's a neat subject. I like this and think I smell mint in the air? LOL Good job.
