Great idea with the shells. Wonderful composition. This is a beautiful image.

I'd have been tempted to crack the egg, remove the yoke, include only the shell fragments and place them in the upper third quadrant. This would have dovetailed with the "shell" concept really well.

This is one of the best images of the week.

Fabulous detail, good lighting - so many similarities between eggs and shells, and this points up the differences.

I think I am getting a slight processing artifact on the egg... sea shells are whetted perfectly......
