Nice picture, but ithink a scene like this would have worked better with a landscape orientation rather than the portrait orinetation used here.

A beautiful place for sure ... I'm curious if you tried this same shot without the canoe?

Nicely composed shot without over-saturation. A touch of image compression image quality loss, but that the way it goes sometimes huh?

NIce scene, though the boat is a bit distracting, and it might have worked better without the yellow leaves in the top right.

oh, how i'd rather be there than here! this looks like an incredible place to shoot, one that will offer endless possibilities. i am curious, though, at what you wanted to convey with this image? the canoe would make a nice subject, but it is not positioned to really be the subject. the background is gorgeous, but doesn't really support the subject. it's obvious that you have decent equipment and good processing software. maybe you just need to work on composing images that really grab viewers attention and give them reason to pause and stay? if you aren't getting the comments and scores you want out of this challenge, please don't take it personally. just consider it a good starting point for the rest of the year. just keep on shooting and submitting, and i am quite sure you will get where you want to be! good luck with this and the challenges yet to come!

Very nice scene but overturned canoe is cluttering up the place.

I think the canoe adds a lot to this photo

Focus seems to have caught the tree right in the foreground (top right), wereas it would have been better to see the focus on the tree beside the canoe. Still a very nice composition and relaxing feel to it.

I would crop just a little off the bottom and rotate so the horizon is level.
