The title makes this one work. Great expression on the homeless man's face. A ten.

This is my favorite for the challenge. The expression on the man's face and the hand motion of the city dweller all add to the uniquness of this photo. Good job! 10!

I think this is an awesome image, however, it would be better if the head of the person hadn't been cut off.

Great capture of a moment played out everywhere. His tired resignation is clear and the contrast of lifestyles apparent in the person's clean dress and confident walk. Weather also helps the desolate vibe with a strong POV and choice of shallow DOF. Excellent stuff.

The only thing missing here is my desire to hang it on my wall. Emotional and thought provoking. Nice composition and great BW tones. No big WOW, but a very nice shot. 8.

Revisiting. This is one of the rare photographs which fit the challege theme perfectly. I admire the expressions on the two figures: the one sitting does not make eye contact with the passerby as he sits rather dejectedly in the snow, while the well-to-do onlooker dismisses him with a curt wave of the hand as he rushes past. Perfect!

If you have some cropping real estate, I would recommend a slight clockwise rotation to level the wall on the left. Also, this appears to be straight B&W, which is thoroughly effective. However, I wonder if a slight toning, say, sepia or steel blue, would add more depth.

In any event, this is one of my favorites this round and I hope it performs well. 8

sweet. A little too contrasty, perhaps? nicely composed. Love the paserby's left hand, seems to be "dismissive"

I keep looking at this picture and seem to pick up more from it each time I look. I love how you leave off the top of the person walking by. Did he come out that dark or did you do it in post. Very nice. I also think the smug look on the bum adds a lot of feeling to the picture. It is that "let down, but no surprise" look. Some may complain about the blown out side walk but it can be forgiven in this shot. Great job!
